Sister university of Girne American University.. Very nice environment very authentic place to study.. Language of Education All education at AUC is carried out in English. Academic Programs In AUC there are currently three Faculties of education which include six undergraduate courses. Academic Year The AUC operates a two semester academic year, with the first semester commencing in September and concluding at the end of January and the second semester commencing in February and culminating in June.  There are also Summer School programs that will be available from the middle of June until end of August. Campus The campus of the American University of Cyprus is located within the ‘Walled City’ of Nicosia with a frequent bus service to surrounding areas. AUC Life The focus of AUC is to create a learning environment that encourages students to embrace the culture that surrounds us.  The university is an ever evolving institution that has grown at a rapid pace with the nucleus being centred round the qualified motivated lecturers, the friendly administrative team and ancillary staff.  The surrounding area is a mass of colour and charm enticing to the mind and challenging to the senses, with the university combining a modern and technical place of learning with the historic and cultural setting.

Doğu Akdeniz Üniversitesi! On a beautiful island in Northern Cyprus lies a great academic institute. By far the best in the region with many accreditation, serene environment including animals and accessibility friendly. Great place to learn, amazing places to visit, make new friends and beautiful memories. Some people are totally unfriendly and arrogrant but you have many amazing people around which is normal everywhere. I love my English professor Serife Sakalli Kurt she is just the best. There is free high-speed Wifi and bus transport throughout campus premises also endless places to hangout. New & prospect students please read! 1, Booking your flight to EMU: It’s Northern Cyprus through Ercan International Airport and only Turkish Airlines fly here. 2, Don’t leave your admission and academics documents inside suitcase as you will be asked by the airport immigration/security. 3, For early arrival the university organizes airport pickups, temporal accommodation and orientation. Check out list of dormitories from my profile then click list. 4, You must read the student handbook & academic calendar! both available online from the university website if you don’t have a hard copy. Please Visit registrar’s office the moment you arrive to complete your registration then IT to get access to the school network and student portal. Visit activity center for information about various clubs and their activities. Also follow the school social media accounts to stay informed. Overall it’s a fantastic University apart from the language barrier sometimes
